As an actor, Romeo believes in the power of the ensemble to tell a story – a truth that goes back to his childhood as one of ten siblings putting on mini-plays as an ensemble at family reunions. Continuing the emphasis on the ensemble, his work-in-progress thesis at UCF examines how social coffee drinking rituals intersect with the fabric of the theatrical ensemble; and in the rehearsal room, Romeo works with an eye towards collaboration. In addition to his multifaceted training as an actor, Romeo is quickly improving as a harmonica player and fledgling musician and brings a spirit of creativity and dynamism to learning musical expressions as an artist.

Romeo is currently living in Orlando, Florida, but his life before and after his graduate training is centered around his fiancé and their two cats, as well as the community of artists and friends in Lexington, Kentucky where he has lived and worked for the better part of six years.

I am driven by the need to share the enduring stories of human connection, and I believe in the ensemble as the keystone in breathing life to those stories. I am an advocate of practicing grace in failure, humility in success, and an unwavering commitment to an ever-higher standard of excellence in my part of the story.
